Poptronic that rides highs and lows like a rock rollercoaster. It’s about starting big, and finishing even bigger.

Edward - GUITAR, KEYS, BASS, PROGRAMMING

Formed in 1996, the two members at the helm being Val and Edward, and hailing from London, Ontario, Canada, started collaborating together to make their Poptronic-rock sound.
In 1997 reel released its first C.D. entitled “Free As Air” and began playing small clubs and venues.
The following two years would find reel playing larger venues and opening for major and international acts as their second disc “Soaring” was released.
In 2000 V and E took time to record other groups, and worked in their commercial studio while experimenting on their own creative project which would be released independently in 2006, this time worldwide.
The project is “Escape From America”, already available at itunes and distributors all over the world.

2007 saw the band release the music video for the single “why?”. With the video airing nationally on MuchMusic, the band was able to capitalize on the exposure and were the winners of the 2007 London Music Award for best pop band, an award decided on fan voting.

Currently, the band is on hiatus, with a new project in development.
